Jaboukie Young-White
Jaboukie Young-White brings a sharp, witty energy to his work, notably in the darkly satirical Apple TV+ series Joan Is Awful, where his comedic timing complements the show’s biting commentary on technology and identity. Primarily an actor and comedian, Jaboukie first gained attention for his stand-up and viral social media presence before landing roles that highlight his unique voice, including appearances on shows like Big Mouth. His performances often blend humor with a keen awareness of contemporary culture, making his characters feel both timely and memorable. Collaborating with creators who explore complex social themes, Jaboukie stands out by turning sharp observations into engaging, dynamic characters rather than relying on straightforward comedy. His work invites viewers to laugh while thinking critically about modern life.
