Hugh Skinner
Hugh Skinner brings a sly charm and an understated wit to his roles, making him a familiar face for fans of sharp British drama and comedy alike. He’s memorable as the quietly clever Tom in The End’s Beginning, where his nuanced performance helps anchor the show's tension and human drama. Prior to that, Skinner earned attention playing Tony in the dark comedy Fleabag, a role that mixed awkwardness and vulnerability with precision. His knack for capturing awkward, often socially uncomfortable characters also shines in the quirky ensemble of W1A, a satirical look at the BBC’s inner workings. Working with creators like Phoebe Waller-Bridge has helped Skinner find a distinct place in contemporary British television, where his subtle, deeply human portrayals linger long after the credits roll.
