Cornelia Hayes O’Herlihy
Cornelia Hayes O’Herlihy made a memorable impression playing Heather, the troubled vampire bride in the chilling "Amends" episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her presence brought a haunting vulnerability to the supernatural world crafted by Joss Whedon, standing out amid the show’s intense emotional drama. Besides Buffy, viewers might recall her from roles that paired quiet intensity with a sharp sense of mystery, fitting seamlessly into stories that blend everyday struggles with eerie or suspenseful moments. Her ability to embody complex characters in genre settings has earned her a niche following among fans of cult and genre television. O’Herlihy’s work often draws attention for the subtle layers she adds to characters who might otherwise be overshadowed by special effects or action sequences, making her performances linger long after the screen goes dark.
